The C.S.ONE Community Drum (Continued)
Born and raised on the Taos Pueblo, John Archuleta has been making drums since 1991. The drums made by John are handled with care and attention. Individually carved with hand selected natural hides, each drum has it’s own unique look and voice. John feels that: "To create quality work one must have personal commitment, dedication, and pride - as well as good thoughts and feelings - because all these qualities are reciprocated from the being (spirit) of the drum.”

Now the drum carries the unique spirit of both John and myself within it. I love this drum. It has a special place in my heart and I am honored to share it with the C.S. ONE community. It will be the drum used in all future C.S.ONE drumming circles and community events facilitated by me.
As Spirit-Of-The-Drum Keeper it is my responsibility to care for the drum and help maintain its positive energy. I look forward to sharing the spirit of the drum with all of you!

John has won numerous awards, including first place six times at the New Mexico State Fair; as well as receiving Honorable Mention on several occasions at the Santa Fe Indian Market. John hopes that each drum taken from his native land will enrich the lives of those who come in contact with it and be assured that the energy which flows from it is all that is good!
